AirPods headphones are automatically paired with Apple iCloud. If the device you want to sync has the same Apple ID, they can automatically connect and exchange audio sources with others on the same line. This category includes iOS 10, macOS Sierra, WatchOS 3 or later devices.

AirPods can be seamlessly connected to iPhone or Apple Watch and iPad. What’s more It can connect to non-Apple devices, but with some limitations in terms of features and applications, as is the case with Android.

One of the special features of AirPods is that it is synchronized with another device Apple is set up automatically. This allows all devices with the same Apple ID to connect to iCloud at the same time. In this sense, Android can’t be paired with iCloud because it’s not compatible. To connect your AirPods to a PC, we need to go to the computer configuration option, then to the Device window and then to the Bluetooth or other device tab. Then we open it and later we apply Bluetooth.

This means that computers can already be detected. Now we go to the settings menu of the computer and the name of the AirPod should appear. All that’s left is to connect.

How do I connect AirPods to an Android device on my own?

AirPods can be paired with a non-Apple device use them like any other Bluetooth headset. Here are the steps to sync with an Android phone.

We open the AirPods case and place it in the Bluetooth area without removing it. We turn on Bluetooth on our mobile device and open Device settings Bluetooth Connected and available devices. We press the headset setup button on the headset housing, the light spot on it should flash. In a few moments it will change from green to white to make it known from mobile.
