Facebook’s pixel conversion is a system that allows you to measure the various events that occur in your account web. It can measure how many people visited the site, how many saw or bought a product, and so on. This way we can know how many conversions our ads have generated and the cost involved.

To create a conversion pixel we have two options: to track conversions with events and to track custom conversions. To do this we go to ‘Power editor’ and then ‘Tools’ and then ‘Pixels’. In the pixels section click on the ‘Create conversion’ button and choose one of the two available options.

Facebook associates these parameters with the millions of data it has of the millions of people who use the platform. In this section the system allows us to segment the audience by categories such as: sex, age, demographic details, etc. and countless more details that will help the algorithm reach the audience you want.

Desired location

In this case, we must choose where we want our advertisements to appear. The ads created they can be directed to both Facebook and Instagram. In our case, the ads will be aimed at the audience that visits Instagram stories. So we can choose only this platform.

Choose the call to action

In this case, we need to think about the action we want people to take when they see your ad. It is closely related to the goal we are pursuing with the ad. The system gives us the option to choose the call to action using the CTA ‘call to action’ button for its acronym in English. Depending on the goal we have calls to book, buy, register, more information, send message and call.
