  2. Click on the icon in the upper right corner called “Account.”
  3. Now enter “View your profile”.
  4. Once in your profile, you will need to click on your profile picture.
  5. After sselect the “View profile photo” option.
  6. After the profile picture appears and to your right the comments and caption text, you should click on the three horizontal dots in the corner.
  7. Now in the pop-up window that appears, you will find different options that you can configure for your profile picture. If you want to restrict the comments in your profile picture, you will have to click on the option “Who can comment on your post”. Then in the options window that will appear, you will have to select the option that suits you best, among which will be Audience, Friends and Profiles and pages that you mention.
  8. Other options that you can select in the options window regarding the privacy of your photo, is the “Edit audience” with this you can choose who can see your profile picture. There you will select the option you want and in this way the profile photo will be displayed for the people you choose.

In the case of setting up the privacy of your profile picture via your phone, the privacy options are a bit more restricted, as this is not the case. you can choose who can comment on it and you can only choose who can see it. The steps are as follows:

  1. Enter in the mobile application.
  2. Tap on the three horizontal lines.
  3. Then click on “View your profile”.
  4. Now click on the profile picture.
  5. In the options that appear to you, select in the option of “View profile photo”.
  6. Then press the three vertical dots in the upper right corner.
  7. Then tap on the “Edit privacy” option.
  8. Finally, select the option of your preference to restrict your profile photo, ready.
